MACI ® Cartilage Repair
MACI is an ACI (Autologous chondrocyte implantation) procedure. This biologic, surgical procedure uses a patient’s own (autologous) cells which are expanded and placed onto a film that can be absorbed back into your own tissue. It is implanted into the area where the damaged cartilage was removed. The tissue created has properties similar to hyaline cartilage, the durable tissue found in articular cartilage.
The procedure is a 6-step process culminating with a physician-prescribed rehabilitation program designed specifically for the patient.
MACI has been proven to provide three important benefits:
A functional repair tissue, Reduced pain and improved function, Improved patient satisfaction.

Implantable Neuro Stimulators
for Chronic Full-Body Pain Relief
Implantable Nerve Stimulators are compact, micro-stimulator systems that treat chronic intractable pain by targeting individual nerves throughout your body. The stimulators are implanted via a minimally invasive, outpatient procedure and are operated by a wireless external controller.
Features and Benefits: a minimally invasive procedure that can be done in office that can lower patient costs and is covered by many insurance carriers. This procedure is an effective chronic pain management alternative where physical therapy and mediations have not provided a positive outcome.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy
This non-surgical therapy is an injection of a concentrated mixture of the patient's own blood. PRP injections have been shown to relieve acute and chronic pain and accelerate healing of
injured tissues and joints. Conditions aided by PRP include joint conditions, meniscus tears, osteoarthritis, and ligament sprains & tears.
Many famous athletes have received PRP for various problems, such as sprained knees and chronic tendon injuries. These types of conditions have typically been treated with medications, physical therapy, or even surgery.
Features and Benefits: an outpatient procedure that can aid in faster recovery and return to normal activities where other treatment outcomes have limited results.

Single Portal Scope Diagnostic Imaging
This minimally invasive, arthroscopic procedure incorporates a disposable
optical needle with fully integrated camera that allows real time diagnosis of patient joint injuries through a handheld tablet. Not only is this useful
for diagnosis, it also contains a fully integrated lumen (port), making it possible to provide pain medication to the area using the same device.
Features and Benefits: an in-office procedure that, in majority of cases, eliminates the need for an MRI and multiple doctor visits.

Subchondroplasty
A minimal incision procedure,
utilizing fluoroscopy, that is designed to access and treat bone defects associated with chronic bone marrow lesions (BMLs), that lie below the bone surface,
by filling them with a biomimetic bone substitute material (BSM). This procedure helps heal lesions as the bone substitute material is reabsorbed and replaced with new, healthy bone.
Features and Benefits: an outpatient procedure; faster recovery and return to normal activities; does not hinder total knee replacement if required in the future. Illustration from Zimmer
